Water levels are low but overall water quality isn't too shabby. Water temps overall are high, but there are still reeds and submerged vegetation along banks that provide cover for the bass, bluegill and baitfish. Bass are moving into the marinas along reeds and rip-rap in pre-dawn hours. Heat of day will drive them out to deeper sections, but you can find some cruising in the early morning hours, looking for bait fish in the shallows. Had success with the original chatterbait in bluegill pattern with a small keitech paddletail as a trailer.
