Come Summer this lake is choked with pads. Topwater or Weedless is almost essential for the majority of this water. The South End has a deep hole where you can fish weedlines. I always catch Bass in here during the summer and usually one over 16" each trip but I've never caught one bigger than 3lbs. Access is needed from either neighboring lake channels which can get pretty shallow and grown in depending on which you choose. This lake sets up well for a Kayak.
