They are spawning, but the water is muddy in most places. I made it up the Flint and the Houch and MOST is very dirty. If you find the cleaner water you will find fish. Some fish still present in the backwater grass, water temps ranging from 68-71 and warming. Still bass guarding fry, some of the bigger females are out on the main river hanging in standing timber and brush. Hot baits this week was the Jackhammer in black and blue in the grass, along with the senko. For offshore a dropshot and glidebait in the standing timber was working best.
