Shad spawn is going on now and it is fire the first couple of hours in the morning. My favorite lure this time of year is definitely the swim jig paired with a rage craw. White is the color of choice but any shad color will work. Throw it around the grass on main lake points and any other places the shad are spawning (docks, rocks, etc).

Cruised the bank with trolling motor on low and tossed frittside down the bank for 5 fish(3 largemouth/2spots). Caught another 3 throwing a Neko rig at laydowns and brush got lots of bites but wind was pretty rough so missed a good bit of fish. Big largemouth were spawning lakewide but were tough to get close enough to catch.

Caught all my fish on the chatterbait. I Culled 2 times for 11.40lbs. Lost 3 fish. The winner had 15.45 and Frogs were used along with bladed baits. Seminole does have clear water and some people caught good limits off the Chattahoochee. I caught my 11 Fish up the Flint River portion on flats. the Chattahoochee frogs.

Water levels are still low and this seems to be affecting spawn. Starting to see lots of small fish in shallower waters.

Most bites came from shakey head but the better quality fish came from spinner bait and trap; fished bank ledges and points. Best results came when you could feel gravel/rocks on bottom.
