With water temperatures rising to 67°-74° to the afternoon the fish were aggressive early hitting Chatter baits and slowed down after the sun got high. Target laydowns with Berkley worms or your favorite soft plastic and have some fun.

Neko seemed to work the best for me. Fish were by lay downs and shallow. It looked like we were still in pre-spawn. Should have gone shallow up north into the creek channel. Should have stayed in first cove when the sun came out. A 20” was caught after I had left. Finished 2nd in the tournament.
