January 20th 2022 I came here to ice fish with a few of my buddies. I also brought my younger brother for his first time ice fishing. We went straight out from a parking lot into about 6-8 foot of water. We had tip ups set out baited with medium sized shiners. while we were jigging with small tungsten jigs tipped with either soft plastics or waxworms. We caught plenty of fish. Lots of chain pickerel as well as some bass and perch all on tip ups. jigging we caught many bluegill a few bass and even a crappie. It was a great time.
