St. Croix Victory Casting Rods

$200.00 – $275.00

Reported by
M T

Lake Independence (MN)

M T reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Structure Jigs technique and St. Croix Victory Casting Rods on Lake Independence. Additional comments from this report: "Outing was on July 19, 2023. Fish were biting up shallow due to incoming storm. Caught about 4 near docks on a jig and another 4 or so on a frog as the storm came in. Great outing with my Dad. Only fished a bit under 2 hours due to lightning. Got off the lake just in time. They really seemed to want to absolutely kill the Spro Flappin Frog, no light taps or anything, just ferocity. See the picture for the storm line!"

Reported by
Jeff

Clam Lake (WI)

Jeff reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Structure Jigs technique and St. Croix Victory Casting Rods on Clam Lake . Additional comments from this report: "I headed to the Northside River mouth and through a jig (or your favorite texas rig) at the laydowns. Mixed bag of large and smallmouth. I had a neko rig for in between. Also used the neko on the main lake where I found mud to sand transitions with pads/reeds. Docks are also usually good"

Reported by
Kent Mittelstaedt

Pelican Lake (MN)

Kent Mittelstaedt reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Structure Jigs technique and St. Croix Victory Casting Rods on Pelican Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Had a good evening of fishing for bass with jigs and a chatterbait. Caught a lot of smaller fish around docks and some big ones out of reeds. Fish were finicky and having a good sensitive rod was key to detect light bites on the jig."

St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rods - EOL

$150.00

Reported by
Brandon Garrett

White Bear Lake (MN)

Brandon Garrett reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Structure Jigs technique and St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rods - EOL on White Bear Lake. Additional comments from this report: "On Sunday 8/28/2022, the water temperature was 73 degrees, and the weather was cloudy with occasional rain. Bass up to 3lb could be found out in 16-17' where sand met submerged coontail looking vegetation. Dragging a jig a foot or two, waiting 15-20sec, dragging again was getting strikes while the jig was moving. But, the better size bass were found pitching to clumps of submerged weeds in about 10' of water."

Reported by
Tom

Lake Koronis (MN)

Tom reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Structure Jigs technique and St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rods - EOL on Lake Koronis. Additional comments from this report: "Leave the East access near Mud Lake. As you leave the channel and enter into the main body of the lake stay on the left side (south side). Bottom bounce drop shots and cast craw jigs for large smallmouth and walleye. Troll back and fourth from where you entered the main body to the carp dam. If you are here at spawn, Cast Ned rigs and wacky work set ups at the carp dam. Here is where the smallmouth spawn."

Reported by
Ben Korhonen

Crow Wing Lake (MN)

Ben Korhonen reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Structure Jigs technique and St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rods - EOL on Crow Wing Lake. Additional comments from this report: "The water temp was really warm so the bass were under the docks for shade. "

Shimano Zodias Casting Rods

$209.99 – $249.99

Reported by
Keatoncoefishing

Pool 2 Mississippi (MN)

Keatoncoefishing reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Structure Jigs technique and Shimano Zodias Casting Rods on Pool 2 Mississippi. Additional comments from this report: "Had an absolute blast in Pool 2 the other day! I was finding deep backwaters and was flipping black and blue jigs on the deeper trees and rock. Fish were picking it up on the fall and were choking it! be careful for floating logs and high water around this time of year. Also got a smallmouth and some largies throwing a swim jig at the undercut bank as well. The best 5 was 16.31 and the big was a 4.14 river stud!"
